Currently, we are looking for a Workers' Compensation Resolution Administrator to join the ArcBest team. As a member, you will direct handling of workers' compensation claims in multiple states to a conclusion insuring compliance with state statutes and regulations. This position also works with departments within the corporation to provide financial information regarding claims cost and employee status.

Your contribution may include:

• Investigate claims to determine if they are compensable.
• Provide workers' compensation benefits to injured employees.
• Work with medical providers to insure reasonable and necessary treatment to employees.
• Work with attorneys to insure proper and timely resolution of claims and disputed issues.
• Evaluate cost of claims and successfully negotiate claims to a conclusion.
• Assist in department projects, as assigned.
• Be available for after-hours call handling.
• Other duties and projects, as needed.
• As a Workers' Compensation Resolution Administrator, you will be a member of the ArcBest Risk Management team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Prior experience in liability and/or workers' compensation claims, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and Word.
• Arkansas Adjuster License must be obtained within one year of employment
• Able to handle multiple claims with multiple jurisdictions.
• Able to direct the investigation of serious accidents and injuries.
